…….. We are so HAPPY and PROUD thant thanks to all the efforts from all our Children, Staff and Head Office that we managed to raise £5,292.76 for Sport Relief!!!

Sport Relief 2012

There is direct access to a marvellous outdoor play area which is equipped with a variety of bespoke play equipment allowing outdoor learning to take place across all areas of the curriculum. The nursery also has it’s very own woodland explorers area with a specially designed hill slide, secret dens, log piles and leafy play areas.

Excellent use is made of local amenities including parks, gardens, galleries and the library and children are regularly to be seen out walking with their Walkodile or enjoying the fresh air in the nursery prams and buggies.

Children attending the nursery are cared for by a skilled and experienced staff team many of whom have been with Holyrood Nurseries for a number of years.

The ethos of the nursery reflects that of the MediaCityUK environment with all stakeholders showing a passion for delivering exceptional service standards at all times. There is fun loving buzz in the air and an atmosphere of care, trust and respect with the emphasis on a quality early years experience for all.

The opening hours are 7a.m. to 7p.m. Monday to Saturday

The nursery is open all year round with the exception of Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day when the service will close.

The group have taken a 15 year, 12,424 sq ft letting on a Peel Group property located in the heart of MediaCityUK enabling them to create a bright and spacious custom designed learning environment perfect for young children.

The nursery will care for children from local families, businesses, BBC and other media and production companies located in and around MediaCityUK and Salford Quays.

Strawberry Hill Nursery is located in Edinburgh, midway between Prestonfield and The Grange, on the corner of Minto Street and Blacket Avenue within a stunning, traditional Victorian villa which has been refurbished to the highest standards. The nursery is served by excellent public transport links and is just a short drive from the city bypass and the wider motorway network.

The nursery interior is carefully designed and has a number of rooms offering dedicated play areas for each age group. Rooms are well laid out and offer an excellent range of resources to support early learning.

There is a splendid all year round outdoor area where children enjoy regular fresh air, exercise and learning across all areas of the curriculum. The nursery has dedicated departments for individual age groups and also provides out of school care and holiday club services for local schools.
