Happitots Day Nursery is situated in a stunning, light and spacious, new building linked to the South Lanarkshire College campus. The nursery has dedicated departments for individual age groups each of which is beautifully designed and generously resourced with quality toys and furnishings.
Each department has direct access to outdoor play areas which are equipped with a variety of apparatus allowing outdoor learning to take place across all areas of the curriculum.
Children attending the nursery are cared for by a skilled and experienced staff team many of whom have been with the nursery since it first opened in 2005.
The ethos of the nursery reflects that of the college with all stakeholders showing a passion for learning and a drive to be a leading provider of early year’s education. There is palpable atmosphere of care, trust and respect with the emphasis on a quality early years experience for all.
The nursery is a recognised Investor in People and an ECO schools centre.
Happitots operates in partnership with South Lanarkshire Council to offer funded pre-school education sessions.
The nursery is open Monday to Friday all year round and caters for college staff, students and the general public. Sessions are as follows:
Full Day Session: 8am to 6 pm
Morning Session: 8am to 1pm
Afternoon Session: 1pm to 6pm
The nursery will open all year round with the exception of 4 public holidays over Christmas and New Year.
