The NMT Awards are the industries most prestigious awards ceremony and we are delighted to announce that the Bertram Nursery Group have been successful to reach the finals in three categories.

Nursery Team

Our Happitots nursery based in Baillieston, Glasgow are thrilled to be in the final for this highly competitive category.

The team at Happitots Baillieston thrive on building strong relationships with their children and their families by providing an all round caring childcare.  The team qualities are respect, commitment, enthusiasm and most of all pride in their roles.

Nursery Personality

Tracey Borthwick from our Bright Beginnings nursery in Falkirk loves every aspect of her role especially the day to day caring, nurturing and stimulation of each individual child.  Tracey feels that it is also important to build a good network with families to ensure excellent two way communication at all times.

Nursery Cook / Chef Award

Our Nursery Cook, Sally Pickup at our Holyrood nursery in Prestwich, Manchester has reached the finals for the Nursery Cook Award.  Sally has to cook a well-balanced and nutritious two course meal in 1 hour and 15 minutes at a cook-off with the other contestants in London on 27^th October.

Judging took place in October and each of the above finalists were faced with a panel of judges who asked why they deserved to be the overall winner in their category and what they brought to the title.  The lucky winners will be announced at the Nursery Awards 2008 Gala Night at the Hilton London Metropole Hotel in November 2008.  The Gala Night will be hosted by Blue Peter presenter, Konnie Huq.
