- Can I look round all rooms and outside play?

- Routine of the day and handovers (What information will I be given)?
- How do you promote good manners and positive behaviour?
- Are you a partner provider?
- How will I know how my child is progressing?
- Do you hold parents evenings?
Things to look out for:
- Are staff friendly and sitting at the children’s level
- Are there plenty of examples of children’s work displayed
- Is the resources and equipment appropriate for the age group
- Is the resources well maintained
- Are the premises clean, well kept and safe
- Is their positive interaction with staff /child and staff/staff
